Hi my name is Diana McKenzie. I was born in Mobile, Al and moved to Baldwin County with my family in 1978. I’m married to Scott and we just celebrated our 31st. anniversary. We have two children and two grandchildren with another one expected in March 2018. We are believers in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is our strength.
I’ve been in the medical field for 26 years. I’m currently the Insurance and Coding Liaison for Gulf Coast Family Chiropractic. I received my certification as a Certified Professional Coder in 2005. I met Dr. Alicia in 2016 as a patient. I came to her with many medical diagnoses that had impaired my quality of living. We began to work together and in a short period of time I start regaining my life back. I knew from the changes that were taking place with me that I wanted to be a part of this incredible journey. I began working here in February 2017.
I love decorating for special occasions and holidays. My favorite past time is spending time with my family. We also have a small family farm with cows, goats, chickens and quail that keeps us busy. There are days that we refer to our world as the wacky family farm loving life. It’s the Best kind!!!!
Hi, my name is Sheryl Mitchell, I was born & raised in Muskegon, Michigan where I worked as a nurse in a pediatrician’s office for 22 years. I moved to Orange Beach in August 2007 and was hired at Gulf Coast Family Chiropractic in January 2016. My job title is ‘Chiropractic Technician’ which suits me perfectly. I have the pleasure of assisting Dr Alicia by teaching and interacting with all the wonderful patients. The best perk of my job is getting hugs from the children and holding all the babies!
I have a strong faith and thank God for blessing me with a loving family. I have 2 sons, Nick who lives in South Carolina and Ryan who lives in Georgia with my daughter-in-law Erin and their beautiful daughter Kate, who is the apple of my eye. The rest of my family are in Michigan.
Recently I’ve taken up CrossFit, enjoy boating, walks on the beach, travelling when I can (which I hope to do more of in the future). By the way, I love Starbucks!
Fun fact – I lived aboard a 52 foot catamaran sailboat for 2 months. We left Orange Beach and sailed to the Bahamas down through the ragged islands and back. It was quite an adventure.
Born and bred near Manchester, England, I moved to the US in 2006 and proudly became a US citizen in 2016. I spent 10 years in Oklahoma training & working in ministry before moving to Baldwin County in December 2016.
I was blessed to start working for Dr Alicia soon afterwards in the position of front office administrator and love being part of the friendly, healthy team and helping others on their journey to health & wholeness.
I studied languages at University in England, am fluent in French & Spanish and love to travel and experience new cultures. I have lived in 7 different countries and have led or been involved in more than 20 missions trips and am looking forward to the next one!
I have been married to Jonathan for 17 years and we’ve travelled much of life’s exciting adventure together. We love our new semi coastal life & the healthier non-toxic lifestyle we’ve been living since moving here.
Solid Ground Small Group
We meet every Tuesday at 11 am at the Full Armor Center for one hour to connect with God and with others. The time is spent in Bible discussion with topics that help spiritual growth and allow each participant to share personal testimonies. We pray for our patients, believe in miracles and would love you to come and join us or let us know your prayer requests so that we can be part of your breakthrough.
Alma Avalos,Front Desk Receptionist
Hi, my name is Alma Avalos born and raised in the South. I’m bilingual in 2 languages, Spanish and English. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2013 and I own my own business called Therapeutic Touch located at the Center. The reason I become a Therapist is because I saw the benefits of healing the body physically and mentally with the use of touch.
Now even more than ever working for Dr. Alicia, you see healings day in and out. It’s a blessing being able to be in an environment where you see God’s work. I also have many different roles at the Full Armor Center including front desk. I come from a big family and soon will be welcoming my twins March 2018! Yes, I could really use some prayers in advance! Thanks!
